DR MUYIWA OJO-AROMOKUDU
Dr Ojo-Aromokudu qualified as a doctor in 1987 and then spent the better part of his postgraduate career in London hospitals training to be a surgeon. He obtained his Fellowship as a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 1995.
He is now a General Practitioner and has happily settled in Berkhamsted after working in central London. He enjoys all aspects of general practice, but has a special interest in Minor Surgery which he performs at Gossoms End in addition to his normal duties as a GP
DR LOLA OJO-AROMOKUDU
Dr Lola qualified as a doctor in 1987. She trained in London hospitals before completing her General Practice training in Oxford Deanery. She works on a part-time basis, and her particular interest is children and women’s health. She and Muyiwa share two lovely children.
Jackie, originally from Liverpool, qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1991 from the Princess Alexandra School of Nursing at The London Hospital, Whitechapel, London. She had a long career in Cardiology at The Wellington Hospital and West Herts Hospital as a Staff Nurse and Sister.
During these years she travelled the east coast of Australia, she married, and went on to have four children but continued to work part-time, finally settling in Hemel Hempstead with her family. She took some time out of nursing after baby number 4 (we think she deserved the break!) but returned to nursing in September 2009 to join the team at Gossoms End.
Sarah began to train as a nurse in 2002 following a life-long ambition. She wanted to start her training at aged 17 but her parents insisted she went to university. She went to the University of Leicester and obtained an Honours degree in Social Sciences, before enjoying a thriving career in Market Research for various blue chip companies.
She married and had 3 children before starting her nursing career. She became an A&E nurse in 2005 and worked at Wycombe Hospital, then Wexham Park Hospital. She took many courses including a Minor Illness and Injury Course, and became a Senior Staff nurse. Sarah joined Gossoms End Surgery as a Practice Nurse in 2012, and is very happy to join the team.
Penny joins us after working for Rennie Grove Hospice Care as a Community Fundraising Manager. She has worked previously in the Charity and Commercial Sector, and is looking forward to working alongside us here at Gossoms End Surgery. She is married with two sons.
